Articles, blog posts and scripts are written by me based on my ideas. I do not use AI to outline or write posts. I’ve tried it and have helped clients with this, but didn’t like the results for my content. For better or worse, what you read or watch from me is my perspective in my own words.
AI is used to enhance what I’ve written. For example, I often use AI output with light edits for summaries that appear at the beginning or end of longer articles. I also rely on AI for some visuals, such as infographics or certain types of charts. All AI output is reviewed for accuracy before publication.
For videos, I do rely on AI to help me extract pull quotes to share and also rely on it to create some graphics that I may use in the video. We also use an AI service that cuts the video into clips for Shorts and adds subtitles. Descriptions, titles, and thumbnails are generated with AI assistance to improve engagement and watch time. We review and edit any output before it gets shared.
AI is used to assist in the research process to help surface additional sources and perspectives. I also use it to track my research notes. I always read multiple sources, often including AI summaries as one of many sources.
Code samples are a mix of code I’ve written and code AI has written. It may also be from a third-party source, with attribution noted. Whoever wrote it, I test it before I include it in a post or video.
All content I produce is edited and reviewed by my business partner, Andrea Streff. She occasionally will use AI to refine a phrase or check a fact. Any words added or changed are hers, and any edits are approved by me.
I do not use ghostwriters. I do not accept guest posts. No content produced is sponsored.
